In an effort to create some more storage space in our fiendishly small apartment, the Lady and I decided to sell our futon via craigslist. It eventually sold, but I was shocked that our ad received more interest from internet scammers than it did from legitimate buyers. It concerned me that there were so many scammers out there willing to try to rip people off, so I've decided to do whatever I can do to scam them right back.
The plan is to post another ad, this one completely fake, intended to lure some potential scammers into an ongoing relationship. For the next few weeks I will be attempting so "sell" a like-new leather couch via craigslist. Any and all offers I receive from scammers will be posted on this blog , and we'll see if we can't have a little fun with these bottom-feeders. Hopefully, the result will be both informative and entertaining. Stay tuned, and enjoy!
